- 1 / 5By Kali WebI came to Captain Donut for breakfast with my dad, best friend and her dad. We all came in with buzzes and the guy behind the counter killed them, he gives you the death stare if you don't have your doughnuts picked out in at the most 3 minutes. There were 5 choices of doughuts at 9:00 AM so either they only make 5 kinds or the doughnuts go super fast. Two choices they had were chocolate and red velvet, those both looked liked piles of mud. We bought backup doughnuts at the Blue Marlin grocer up the street and those tasted better than the doughnuts from a dedicated store for doughnuts! All of these doughnuts are horrible and I will never go back here. Though the store seems enticing since it is on the main drag unless you want terrible donuts that taste like and sometimes look like dirt then never go here.September 29, 2016
